Theodore William Cantrell, Jr., 63, of Smiths Station, AL died Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Columbus Hospice House.
Graveside services with military honors will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2011 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, AL with Reverend Steve Williams officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Cantrell was born November 7, 1947 in Rosman, NC son of the late Christine Galloway Cantrell and Theodore W. Cantrell, Sr. He was a Veteran of U.S. Marine Corps and fought in the Vietnam War. He was always a loyal and faithful father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Survivors include his daughter, Alicia, sons, Ted, III, David, Adam and Gabe, sisters, Ruby, Joyce and Cathey, brothers, Bobby and Jimmy, eight grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
