Thelma F. Hart of Columbus GA passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Canterbury Nursing Home in Phenix city, AL.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date at Health Park in Columbus GA, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Thelma was born April 19, 1934 to the late Jessie James McKee and Willie Lee Mckee of Wedowee Al. Thelma was a forced to be reckoned with. She loved cooking family meals, her potato salad, turkey dressing, fig and pear preserves were blue ribbon winners. She had a God given talent for flower gardening, her flower beds were the envy of the neighborhood. She was a very high spirited lady with a love for country music, Jim Reeves, Conway Twitty, Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn to name a few.
She was the mother of 7 children, Linda Lockard of Savannah GA, Terry Wayne Pate of Wedowee AL, Benny Pate of Penbroke GA, Tammy Love Gray of Monticello FL, Michael Warren Love of Acworth GA, Donna Brassuex of Phenix City AL, Wanda Perry of Salem AL, 18 grandchild and one great-great-grandchild.
We will miss her dearly. Thank you Lord for caring for all of us. May she rest in peace.
