Teresa Jean Amerson, 48, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, September 15, 2013 in Pittsview, AL.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Jerry Merriweather officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Amerson was born November 30, 1964 in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Lawrence Junior Riley, Sr. and Doris Ann Beach Grier of Cusseta, GA. She was a homemaker and member of River Center Pentecostal Church on Morris Avenue, Columbus, GA.
Survivors other than her mother, Doris Ann Beach Grier of Cusseta, GA include her husband, Tommie Wayne Amerson of Columbus, GA; daughters, Teresa Lynn Young (Travis) , Tiffany Jean Amerson and Lisa Marie Amerson all of Columbus, GA; grandson, Travis Young, Jr.; granddaughters, Summer Marie Johnson and Rachel Lynn Herring; sister, Froney Stegemiller (Carl) of Dawson, GA and Hazel Amerson of Columbus, GA; brothers, Lawrence Junior Riley, Jr. of Columbus, GA, Tommy Joe Riley of Mauk, GA and Oscar Riley (Ginny) of Columbus, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
