Sylvanius Gillman, 77, of Columbus, GA, died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Columbus Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 16, 2015 at Edgewood Baptist Church with Rev. David Howle officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Gillman was born November 25, 1937 in Hartford, AL, son of the late Thomas N. Still and Cora Ruth Davis Still. He was a letter carrier in the Civil Service for Ft. Benning for 30 Years.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Jernigan Gillman; son, Ronnie Lee Gillman, and brother, Joseph Leonard Still.
Survivors include his daughter, Cheryl McFarland of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Kirsten Klinker of Columbus, GA, Nathan Gillman of Oklahoma City, OK, and Lindi Pate of Columbus, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
