Susan "Sue" Jones Hurley, 71, of Ellerslie, GA, died Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Emory University Hospital Midtown.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Jay Grantham officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Sue was born August 23, 1945 in Kansas City, MO, daughter of the late William Henry Jones and Florence Etheridge Jones. She was the office administrator for 32 years at Independent Life and was a member of Wynnton United Methodist Church.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Todd Hurley.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Leonard Hurley; two daughters, Kathy Landrum and Tiffany Roberts (Jim); 6 grandchildren, Conner Landrum, Kristen Landrum, Abby Roberts, Jack Roberts, Katey Roberts and Callie Roberts; nephews, Bill McCune and Neal Jones and niece, Georgia Brown and numerous cousins and loved ones.
