Sun Cha Tranmer, 72, of Columbus, GA died Monday, February 1, 2016 at East Alabama Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Sungman Park officiating. A private interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Tranmer was born December 9, 1940 in Korea daughter of the late Wooh-Ryong and Sung-Nyo Kim. She was a Chef for the Mandarin House and later was a homemaker. She was an Elder Member at Rock Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Tranmer loved her garden, family and her dog, Nick.
She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Tranmer.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, James Tranmer of Columbus, GA, sons, William Tranmer (Cecille Ericta) of Atlanta, GA and John Tranmer (Rebecca) of Columbus, GA, brother, Sae-Jong Kim of South Korea, aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Kyo H. Kim of Covina, CA, and grandchildren, Alyssa, Emma and Lauren Tramner and Khalel De Castro and Meghann Ericta.
Flowers will be accepted, but those so desiring may make memorial donations to The Rock Presbyterian Church 1728 Floyd Rd. Columbus, GA 31907.
