Stephen Fox Watson, 70, of Salem, Alabama, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, January 10, 2015. He was a loving father, grandfather, son and brother.
A celebration of life was held at 2:00 p.m. on January 11, 2015 at his home for friends and family according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Ga.
Steve was born December 28, 1944 in Ypsilanti, Michigan and resided in Lake Harding, Alabama for the past 6 years, having moved from Key West, Florida to become Regional Owner of Tradebank of Columbus in Georgia. He graduated from Jordan High School in 1963 and when he turned 17 years old he served in the US Air Force and received an Honorable Discharge due to his eye sight.
He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Watson Holley of Panama City Beach, Florida; his son, Stephen Chance Watson of Panama City Beach, Florida; granddaughter Alexis Holley 14yrs old; grandson Nathan Watson 18months old; brothers Don Watson, James Watson and Hugh Greenlee.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Wells Fargo for Stephen Watson # 8698892232 to help with cremation. The remaining funds will be donated to Clifford Chester Sims Veterans Home 4419 Tram Rd. Panama City Fl. 32404.
