Stephen Earl "Steve" Toms, 63, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 in Columbus, GA.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 21, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends following the services at the funeral home.
Mr. Toms was born July 31, 1948 in Anchorage, AK son of Leona Pearl Hensley Toms of Columbus, GA and the late David Earl Toms. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He was the manager of The Gold and Silver Trading Center and was the owner of Duffy's Night Club.
Survivors other than his mother include his daughter, Robin Sanders of Columbus, GA, two sisters, Judith Ann Toms Golds of N. Wilksboro, N.C. and Sandra Lee Toms Whitehurst of Columbus, GA, one grandchild, Kennedy Lynn Burt of Columbus, GA and numerous other family members.
