Graveside services with full military honors will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Sergeant Major Regan was born July 27, 1947 in Yonkers, NY son of the late Stephen J. Regan, II and Rosemary McLaughlin Regan. He was Catholic by faith.
Sgt. Maj. Regan was a U.S. Army Veteran having retired after 21 years of service. While serving, he received the following medals: Silver Star Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, Air Medal, Bronze Star Medal with two Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal with two Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, Combat Infantrymanâ
