SSG (Ret.) Robert C. Wilson, 85, of Columbus, GA, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Gentiva Hospice.
Funeral Services with Military Honors will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, February 14, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. A private interment will be held in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
SSG (Ret.) Wilson was born September 8, 1928 in Iowa, son of the late Winfred E. Wilson and Maude Elliott Wilson. He retired from the United States Army and later retired from Sears.
Survivors include his daughter, Rosalina King (Victor) of Columbus, GA; son, Curtis Winfred Wilson (Rae) of Coolidge, GA; grandchildren, Kristen Nicole Wilson of Athens, GA, Curtis James Wilson and Matthew Freeman both of Thomasville, GA.
