SSG (Ret.) Charles E. Muldoon, III, 54, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Columbus Hospice House at Midtown Medical Center West.
Graveside Services with full military honors will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, November 24, 2014 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
SSG (Ret.) Muldoon was born April 8, 1960 in Rome, NY, son of Barbara A. Muldoon and the late Charles E. Muldoon, Jr. He retired with 21 years of service. During his service, SSG (Ret.) Muldoon was an airborne ranger and master trainer at Airborne School.
Survivors other than his mother include his wife of 21 years, Mercedes Muldoon of Columbus, GA; six sons, Joshua, Ernesto, Carlos, Rogelio, Manuel, and Robert Muldoon; one sister, Colleen Muldoon Seeber (Doug); and a nephew, Michael Seeber.
