Skyler Davian Hall, 21, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025 in Columbus, GA.

A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following church service at 1:00 PM, Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Cascade Hills Church in the studio on the 3rd floor according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Attendance of church service is welcomed but not required.

Skyler was born March 26, 2003 in Wilmington, NC he is the son of Nova Hall-Hansen and Jason Hansen. He loved all sports and was especially skilled in his athletic abilities. He was loved by everyone privileged enough to know him. Skyler loved with his whole heart and would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it.

Skyler was our firstborn and only boy. He was a beautiful soul and an everlasting friend if there ever was one. He brightened the world around him with his kindness and fun personality; always aiming to get a smile or a laugh out of you.

Having autism, Skyler struggled with the inability to cope with big temporary emotions. A devastating end to what he thought was a forever love led to this tragedy; he was simply not able to see another way out. Young love can be tumultuous and often ends in heartbreak. This was the case for Skyler. It is with great sorrow that we share with you that Skyler took his own life.

I wish to share Skyler’s story with you so you can talk to your young ones about the temporary emotion of heartbreak and help them understand that these feelings will pass.

Skyler was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Marion Hall; great-grandfather, EJ Hall; and uncle, Luke Hall.

Survivors include his parents, Nova Hall-Hansen and Jason Hansen of Columbus, GA; grandmother, Nina Mae Brown of Columbus, GA; aunt, Sunna Rebolledo and uncle Danny Rebolledo of Maryland; uncle, Zech Hall of Los Angeles, CA; aunt, Eartha Martin of Colorado; siblings, Bailee and Sophia, both of Columbus, GA; and many loving cousins.
