Sieglinde Pierce

Sieglinde Pierce, 66 of Columbus, GA, died Friday April 29, 2022 at her residence.

A service will be held at a later date according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Sienglinde was born September 5, 1955 in Burgoberbach, Germany to the late Johann Balzer and Berta Engelhard -Balzer.  She worked as a kitchen manager for Burger King.Sieglinde enjoyed being with her family, watching TV, playing bingo, talking, drinking coffee, and was a member of the German Ladies Club. She was a kind, humorous, and full of spunk and never met a person she couldn’t carry a conversation with, and everyone loved her.

She is survived by her son Marcus Pierce (Angelika) of Germany,  daughters, Bianca Thomas  (Devion) of Columbus, GA, Tatjana Quarles of Columbus, GA, stepsons, Lannis Patterson (Irene) of Orlando, FL, Jeris Patterson (Natalie) of Birmingham, AL, ex-husband Lanis Patterson of Columbus GA, brothers Herbert Engelhard (Lydia) of Germany, Johann Balzer (Christine) of Germany, Stefan Balzer of Germany, and sister Erika Boco-Siani of Germany and five grandchildren, Sammy-Jo Pierce of Germany, Kalei White of Columbus, GA, Marquavius Quarles of Columbus GA, Chasity Thomas of Columbus GA, and Tyren Pierce of Germany.
