Sherry Sue Ellison, 72, of Midland, GA died Monday, July 16, 2018 at her home.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 17, 2018 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Ellison was born July 8, 1946 in St. Louis, MO daughter of the late Otis Sloan and Alicine Terrill Ruley. She was a homemaker and fought a brave battle with cancer twice. Mrs. Ellison was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by everyone including her beloved dog, Addy.
Survivors include her children, Donna Curtis (Larry) of Crestview, FL, Brian Ellison (Lisa) of AZ, Aaron Cole of Newnan, GA and Ronda Sue Tranter (Jim) of Midland, GA, sister, Gracie Fringer of MO, 9 grandchildren, Heath Ellison, Timothy Carsel, Jeremy Cole, Travis Brannon, Stephany Cole, Kennedy Cole, Aleyna Carsel, Jimmy Tranter and Mackenzie Cole, 2 great grandchildren, Conrad Ellison and Collis Ellison, nieces, Teri Fringer and Andrea Sloan and nephews, Mark Fringer, Derek and Charles Sloan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to East Alabama Humane Society 712 13th St. E Phenix City, AL 36867.
