Sherill K. Cummings, 78, of Columbus, GA died Monday, January 14, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Larry Biggers officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cummings was born June 25, 1940 in Quincy, IL daughter of the late Russell Gallaher and Doris Spencer Gallaher. She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed family outings, visiting Florida, and playing board games.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, David Cummings of Columbus, GA, daughters, Sonmogique Isabell (Robert) of Columbus, GA and Erica Newton (Kevin) of Parker, CO, sons, David Sprout of Columbus, GA, Jay Gentry Sprout (Sheryl) of Fortson, GA and Shawn Sprout (Ulrike) of West Point, GA, sister, Susie Pacholak and brother, Scott Gallaher both of Ft. Pierce, FL, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
