Sfc Jack Edward (Ret.) Patrick

SFC (Ret.) Jack Edward Patrick, 83, of Cusseta, GA died Saturday morning, February 23, 2013 at Vista Care Hospice.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Cusseta United Methodist Church. 598 Broad St., Cusseta, GA 31805. Internment with Military Honors will be held at 2:30 P.M. EST at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
SFC (Ret.) Patrick was born September 2, 1929 in Morgan County, Georgia. He was a retired SFC from the United States Army, after serving his country for 22 years. During World War II he met his wife of 63 years Sachiko "Sue" Patrick in Tokyo, Japan. Jack and Sue are the parents of four children, Dotti & Phil Penny of Fortson, Georgia, Raymond Patrick, Tommy & Rezondala of Smiths Station, Alabama and Ron & Melinda Patrick of McDonough, Georgia; grandfather of eight and great-grandfather of many who will carry on his love for life & the Lord.
Mr. Patrick was passionate about many things which included volunteering at the Ft. Benning Thrift Shop, coaching Challenger Little League, watching his grandchildren play sports, and recycling everything. He was very devoted to Cusseta United Methodist Church. He loved family vacations, celebrating holidays, yard sales and most of all spending time with his family.
