SFC (Ret.) James Eugene Patrick, 53, of Ellerslie, GA died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 25, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dan MacMinn officiating. A private interment will be held at Oakhill Cemetery in Waverly Hall, GA. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Patrick was born September 3, 1958 in Painesville, OH son of James Eugene Patrick of Mentor, OH and Judith Phillips Johnson (David) of Orwell, OH. He retired from the U.S. Army as a Sergeant First Class, and was a Registered Nurse and Director of Infection Control at Martin Army Community Hospital.
Survivors other than his parents include his wife, Vickie Lynn Welch Patrick of Ellerslie, GA, three daughters, Jessica Coger (Richard) of Cataula, GA, Laura Adams (Greg) of Forsyth, GA and Chelsea Dobbs (Kenny) of Columbus, GA, son, Joshua Patrick of Box Springs, GA, two brothers, Timothy Patrick of Strongsville, OH and Bill Patrick of Fairport, OH, and two grandchildren, Owen Coger and Olivia Grace Coger.
