Sarah L. Wilson, 93, of Columbus, GA, died Friday, May 23, 2014 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 6 pm Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Living Grace Methodist Church with visitation to follow according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Wilson was born February 22, 1921 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Roy H. Screws and Hassie Haden Screws. She was a homemaker and member of Living Grace Methodist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe R. Wilson, Sr.
Survivors include her daughter, Rita Tew of Pine Mountain, GA and Debbie Bass (David) of Cataula, GA; sons, Joe Wilson Jr. of Columbus, GA and William Thomas Wilson of Cataula, GA; sister, Maryann Hendry of Columbus, GA; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 233 12th Street Ste 710 Columbus, GA 31901.
