Sarah Alice McCollum Johnson, 86, of Phenix City, AL, died Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Paul Thomas officiating. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Johnson was born May 16, 1930 in Alabama, daughter of the late John B. McCollum and Florrie Pearl Coffin McCollum. She was a member of Evangel Temple and was an Artist.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Dean Johnson and sisters, Mary Garrett and Belle Strong.
Survivors include her husband, George Cliff Johnson, Jr of Phenix City, AL; sons, Cliff Johnson (Sherry) and Sam Johnson (Connie) and daughter, Camille Owens, all of Phenix City, AL; 9 grandchildren, Aaron Johnson, Miriam Johnson, Kyle Johnson, Lauren Johnson Barr, Charles Ledoux, Lisa Atkinson, John Ledoux, Allison Owens, Genni Owens and 9 great-grandchildren.
