Sara R. Purgason Johnson, 77 of Warm Springs, GA died Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Columbus Hospice House.
A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Columbus Hospice House Community Room, 7020 Moon Rd, Columbus, GA 31909. Private interment will be held at a later date at Woodbury Cemetery.
Sara was born October 10, 1942 in Woodbury, GA. daughter of the late George Reynolds and Emma Lois Self Reynolds. She was self-employed as a Seamstress.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Curtis Purgason and her second husband D.K. Johnson and grandchild Justin Strickland.
Survivors include her children, Laurie Cartwright (Rocky), Sara Purgason, Curtis Purgason, Jr., Leslie Dalton, grandchildren, Kandi Oakes (Steve), Kristi Harris (Rob), Alyssa Oswalt, Cody Purgason (Gabby), great grandchildren, Karcyn Harris, Noah Disinki, Jayce Oswalt, Cooper Purgason, Harleigh Harris, Chandler Purgason, and brother Kenneth Reynolds.
