Sara McCrory Day 83, of Columbus died Tuesday, November 08, 2016 at Midtown Medical Center.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 11, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd Columbus.
Mrs. Day was born October 20, 1933 in Abbeville, Al. daughter of the late John Douglas and Katherine Hugley McCrory. Mrs. Day worked 17 years for the Columbus Clinic and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Fred Day, Sr., son Thomas Fred Day, Jr. and son-in-law Rayford Brooks.
Survivors include two daughters Katherine Day Cannon (William) and Sydney Day Brooks both of Columbus, Ga. 3 grandchildren Paul Edwin (Trae) Griggs, III (Sheree), Jon Thomas Griggs and Striling Crawford Sebek. 4 great- grandchildren Sarah Beth, Paul IV (Tiger), Chandlor and Baleigh 2 great-great grandchildren Matthew and Nova.
