Sandra Tillis, 55, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Matt Quick officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. Tillis was born October 18, 1959 in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Willie Andrew Godwin, Sr. and Katie Laverne Suggs Godwin. She was a homemaker and was all about family.
Survivors include her spouse, Donnie Thomas; daughter, Miranda Hardy (Shawn); sons, Eddie Joe Tillis (Renee), Michael Tillis (Amy); siblings, Barbara Kelley (Eddie), Brenda Godwin (Cindy Chaffin), Andy Godwin (Angie) all of Columbus, GA, niece, Kaylee Joyce Gonzalez of Columbus, GA, 7 grandchildren, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted but contributions can be made to Columbus Hospice House, 7020 Moon Road, Columbus GA 31909.
