Sandra "Gail" Hudson

Sandra "Gail" Hudson recently of Greenville, Georgia and native of Columbus, Georgia died Friday, February 8, 2019 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, Georgia.
A gathering of family and friends of Gail will be held from 1-3 PM Saturday, February 16, 2019 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Gail was born May 7, 1954 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Arthur Edgar Hudson and Doris Shellhouse Hudson. As a nurse for 19 years, she worked for the Medical Center, St. Francis Hospital and Laurel Heights Hospital in Atlanta Georgia until Multiple Sclerosis forced her to medically retire from nursing. Gail loved to travel, visit the beach and especially loved her Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves.
Gail is survived by her long-time Companion and Care Partner, Lucy Perkerson of Greenville, Georgia; her sister, Carol Hudson Craig of Columbus, Georgia; nieces, Julie Carolyn Craig of Columbus, Sarah "Sally" Elizabeth Andre and husband, Chaly of Columbus, Katherine "Katie" Amanda Gosden and husband, Ben of Savannah, Georgia; great nieces, Lauren, Hailey, and Olivia; great nephews, Joshua and Samuel; her service dog, Biscuit and her retired service dog, Dixie.
