Sandra H. Arwood, 78, of Buena Vista, GA died Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Facility.
A memorial service will be held 3:30 PM Thursday, July 8, 2021 at East Highland United Methodist Church1301 17th St. Columbus, GA 31901 with Rev. Mark Sasser and Rev. Joy Wilson.
Mrs. Arwood was born December 6, 1942, in Opelika AL, the daughter of the late J. D. Hood and Reba Hutchinson Hood. Sandra worked as a CNA with East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Timothy “Tim” Arwood.
Survivors include her husband, John Homer of Buena Vista, GA, son, Craig Arwood of Opelika, AL.
