Samuel “Sam” Doswald Cash, 91, of Midland, GA died Sunday, February 25, 2024 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 28, 2024 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will be held at Riverdale Cemetery following the service.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00PM, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Sam was born December 26, 1932 in Hamilton, GA to the late Stanford Tilton Cash and Alice Inez Johnson Perritt. He retired from the Air Force after 21 years of service as a Master SGT and was the owner of a house flipping company “Samron”. He was a member of the Nazarene Church on Macon Rd, loved working on cars, flipping houses, working on homes and traveling.
Other than his parents Sam is preceded in death by his daughter, Janet Diane Turner, siblings, Tilton Cash, Hellan Maxine Littleton, Ocie Leonard Cash, Stanford Tilton Cash, Jr. Willie Candis Cash.
He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Sue McAbee of Punta Gorda, FL, son, Samuel “Sam” Don McMillian (Renita) of Brunswick ME, special friends, Randy and Rhonda Tutherow, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members.
