Sally Hull Mulkey, a cherished wife, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully, and  is with the Lord she loved so much, on May 3, 2024, at the age of 77 in Atlanta, Georgia.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the family’s residence, located at 316 Lee Rd. 636, Salem, AL 36874, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Sally was born December 11, 1946, in Hastings, Michigan to the late Gerald Hull and Beryl DeSario, she was a beacon of love and creativity, known for her kindness and artistic spirit.Sally, affectionately known by those closest to her, spent her early years in New Smyrna, Florida, where she graduated from high school with a thirst for knowledge and a desire to help others. Her academic journey led her to Daytona College, where she completed a Basic Nursing Course with such excellence that she made the Dean's list. Later, she continued her education at Chattahoochee Valley Community College upon returning to the valley, further demonstrating her commitment to lifelong learning.

Though her educational pursuits were impressive, Sally's true vocation was her role as a homemaker. She dedicated her life to raising her four children in a home filled with love and care. Her husband, Bryant H. Mulkey Jr., stood by her side as a loving partner for many years, sharing countless memories and moments of joy.

Sally's interests were as vibrant and varied as her personality. She had a talent for painting, a passion that captured the intricate details of the world around her in tiny strokes of color. Her hands also skillfully crafted many beautiful ceramics, each piece a testament to her artistic touch. She was an ardent fan of Alabama football, sharing her enthusiasm and team spirit with all who knew her. Game shows were another source of enjoyment for Sally, providing her and Bryant with hours of entertainment and friendly competition.

Known for her culinary excellence, Sally's kitchen was the heart of her home. She cooked with love and generosity, often preparing enough food during family get-togethers to feed the entire neighborhood. Her recipes and delicious meals are cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

As we bid farewell to Sally Hull Mulkey, we hold on to the precious memories and the profound impact she made on our lives. Her spirit, characterized by unwavering love and an ever-present kindness, will continue to guide and inspire us. Sally's creative soul, her passion for life, and her dedication to her family will never be forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her son, Bryant H. Mulkey III , step-father, John DeSario , mother-in-law, Lucille Mulkey, father-in-law, Bryant H. Mulkey Sr. and sister-in-law, Tonya Conrad

She is survived by her husband, Bryant H. Mulkey Jr., children, Anna Howley (Brian), Andy Mulkey (Lisa), Charles Severance, siblings, Carol Ellerbe (Wick), Lori Reaser (George), Marty Hull (Dena), grandchildren, Jonathan Howley (Jenna), Matthew Howley (Haley), Nicholas Mulkey, Megan Mulkey, Nathan Mulkey, Bryant H. Mulkey VI , Nikki Mulkey, Wyatt Mulkey, Tyler Severance, great-grandchildren, Wavorly Howley, Scarlett Mulkey, Bryant H. Mulkey V, Micah Mulkey, Julian Zambrano, many nieces and nephews.
