Sally Connell Kirkland, 77, of Columbus, GA died Monday, February 1, 2016 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Reverend Emory Evans officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kirkland was born August 21, 1938 in Adel, GA daughter of the late John Caulie Connell and Vinnie Sturdivant Connell. She worked as a Supervisor for Sams Club and was a member of Faith Temple Assembly of God.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Thomas G. Kirkland.
Survivors include her three daughters, Deborah Contway (Tom), Janet Jacobs and Sandra Taylor (Larry), two sons, Thomas W. Kirkland and William H. Kirkland (Diane), 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
