Sally Jane Dudley, 68 of Opelika, AL died Sunday, March 24, 2013 at East Alabama Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 P.M., Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Shiloh Baptist Church, Opelika, AL with Rev. Mike Turner officiating.. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home, 613 14th St. Phenix City, AL.
Mrs. Dudley was born August 5, 1944 in Bellefontaine, OH daughter of Mary Schrader Hertenstein and the late C. H. Hertenstein. She was a budget analyst for Civil Service at Ft. Benning. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and the Russell County Homemakers Society. She enjoyed cooking and sewing.
Survivors other than her mother include her husband Joel A. Dudley; children, Brenda Ammodt (Eric), Scott Dudley, Jack Dudley, Jeffrey Dudley and Jody Griffen; sister, Sue Palmer (John); brother, Christopher Hertenstein (Michelle); grandchildren, Jessica, Rachel and Tyler and several nieces and nephews.
