Rylon R. Wills, 78, of Columbus, died Wednesday December 2, 2009 at the Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday December 5, 2009 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, with Pastor Bill McCluskey officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The following will serve as active pallbearers, Danny Hutto, Lowell Williams, Freddie Manning, James Wills, Allen Ziegler, and Joe Watson. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Healan, Ray White, Charles Ward, Bobby Ivey, Larry Pritchett, Mike Morgan, Larry Goodman, Jimmy Goodman, Robert Scroggs, and Richard Greenhaw. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Wills was born November 6, 1931 in Shorterville, AL to the late John Wesley Wills and Lou Elkins Wills. He was a courier service contractor with the state of Georgia. Mr. Wills was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Phyllis C. Wills, sisters, Nina Wills Brown and Elmer Wills Hutto, brothers, Lonnie Wills, Loyd Wills, W.C. â
