Ruth Hulker Lieberman

Ann Ruth Hulker Lieberman, 83, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, January 31, 2016 at her home.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, February 22, 2016 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Lieberman was born July 29, 1932 in Frankfurt, KY daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth McDonald Hulker. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Kentucky University and received her Master's Degree from the University of Kentucky. She worked for 20 years as a speech pathologist for Russell County Schools. She was very active in the community, volunteering at the Springer Opera House and the Working Closet, as well as teaching bread making. Mrs. Lieberman loved antiques, the beach, travel and was an avid reader.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Patsy Rickert and her son-in-law, Larry Hutchison.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Dr. Lewis Lieberman of Columbus, GA, daughters, Jenny Hutchison of Dallas, TX, Rachel Lieberman of Ridgefield, CT and Naomi Larsen (Fred) of Cumming, GA, grandchildren, Miranda Rosenblum, Noah Rosenblum both of Ridgefield, CT, Katherine Hutchison of Dallas, TX, Sam Larsen, Anna Larsen and Ben Larsen all of Cumming, GA, niece, Carrie Anderson, nephew, David Watkins, and cousin, Paul Massey (Judy).
