Rudy L. Wilson, 58, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital.
Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2010 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Don Wilhite officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Wilson was born November 27, 1952 in Atlanta, GA son of O. Lodric Wilson of Columbus, GA and the late Bessie Askew Wilson. He was the owner and operator of Osahatchee Oyster Bar and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Steven Moore (Tina) of Fortson, GA, daughter, Meridith Wilson of Harris County, GA, father, O. Lodric Wilson of Columbus, GA, sister, Teri Geer (Chuck) of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Aaron, Madelyn, Brandon, Addison and John Thomas, and niece and nephew, Brett and Heather Sheheane.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Calvary Christian Church 7556 Old Moon Rd. Columbus, GA 31909.
