Ruby Jewell Lynn Stokes

Ruby Jewell Lynn Stokes, 83, of Columbus, GA died Monday, August 28, 2023 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 5, 2023 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Floyd Baker, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The service will be live streamed on the McMullen Funeral Home website.

Ruby was born May 18, 1940 in Red Level, AL to the late Preston Quinley and Nora Lee Matthews Quinley. She worked in Columbus Mills for several years.  She retired from the Warranty Department at Charbroil. She loved to sew and garden.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings, Tom Quinley, Preston Quinley, Jake Quinley, Cecil Quinley, Pete Quinley, Roy Edward Quinley and Fannie L. Watley and spouses Jimmy Lynn and Eddie Lee Stokes.

She is survived by her son, Randy Lynn, Sr. (Evelyn) of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Becky Sue Caldwell (Doug) of Silver Springs, FL, Randy L. Lynn, Jr. of Columbus, GA, brother, Marvin Quinley of Columbus, GA, four great-grandchildren, nieces, Pearl Mitchell of Columbus, GA, and  Linda Norris of Phenix City, AL plus several other nieces and nephews.
