Ruby L Price

Ruby Lorine Price, 93, of Columbus, GA, died Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 5, 2023 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Cortez Frazier and Rev. Anthony Hovey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at Parkhill cemetery.

Ruby was born February 23, 1930 to the late Fred McGilvray and Gladys Hovey McGilvray. She was a member of North Highland Assembly of God and was a part of the Horizon Sunday school class.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings, Grace Creel and Sara Hagler.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years Billy Price of Columbus, GA, three sons, Thomas “Tommy” Benefield (Gail) of Fortson, GA, Billy Price, Jr. (Janet) of Ladonia, AL, Paul Price (Holly), of Fortson, GA, brother, Wayne McGilvray of Louisville, AL, grandchildren, Terri Russell (Chance) of Columbus, GA, Shannan Dye (Bill) of Salem,AL, Megan Ledbetter (Todd), Britni Gentry (John), Rikki Lynn Lemon, Hunter Price, ShannonBenefield, Dylan Price, nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and numerous of family and friends.

Flowers will be accepted but those who wish may make contributions to North Highland Church 7300 Whittlesey Blvd. Columbus, GA 31909.
