Ruby Estelle Brown, 89, of Columbus, GA passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, July 9, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Muriel Pitts officiating. A private interment will be held at Riverdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. Brown was born October 3, 1922 in Bruce, FL daughter of the late James A. and Ethel Odom Day. She was Baptist by faith, a member of the South Columbus Senior Center, and was an accomplished artist.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Brown,Sr., daughter, Penny C. Brown, and brothers, James Day, Harvey Day, and David Day.
