Ret. MSG Jesse P. Lanehart, Sr., 74 of Columbus died Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services with full military honors will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA with Pastor Chris Davis officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 till 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
MSG Lanehart was born March 28, 1936 in Wilkinson County, MS son of the late Paul J. Lanehart and Jessie McKlemurry Lanehart. He has been a resident of Columbus since 1971. He had retired from the U.S. Army after 21 yearâ
