Royann "Ann" Kathleen Simmons, 80, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Columbus Hospice House.
A private family funeral service will be held at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. A public visitation will be held Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Ann was born December 29, 1937 in Brockton, MA daughter of the late Roy Conklin Bailie and Marion Sullivan Bailie. She was a flight attendant for United Airlines and worked in Real Estate Marketing. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her beloved Mr. Simmons.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jodie Patterson.
Survivors include her husband of six years, John Simmons of Columbus, GA, children, Brice Patterson (Ashley), Jennifer Pitts, all of Columbus, GA, Rick Sapp of Atlanta, GA, Steven Sapp (Naomi) of Smiths Station, AL, Lisa Cranston of Springfield, MA, Kathy Arel of Fleming Island, FL, Sue Marie Anderson of Oakdale, CA, Ann Marie Flores of Ponoma, CA, and sister, Sandy Dennison of Las Vegas, NV, brother, Brad Bailie (Judy) of Madison, GA, and numerous grandchildren.
