Roy James"Buck" Martin

Roy James Edward "Buck" Martin, 73, of Phenix City, Alabama died Saturday at the Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. John Wayne Eldridge officiating. A private interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the services at the funeral home.
Mr. Martin was born September 11, 1945 in Coffee County, Alabama son of the late Bennie and Wilma Dunaway Martin. He was a machinist for Pasco Building Supplies.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Edna Gore Martin of Phenix City, Al., children, Richard Martin (Susan), Jeffery Martin (Donna), Robert Martin and Katherine Oakley (Carl). 9 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren. Buck is also survived by his furry canine daughter Lily and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
