Rosie Ann Blackmon, 70, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 11, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Steve Maguire officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Blackmon was born September 24, 1942 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Herbert Howard and Katherine McGuirt Mahon. She was a homemaker and a member of Cascade Hills Church.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Lewis Lamar Blackmon of Columbus, GA, her son, Kenneth Blackmon and his son, Joshua Blackmon (Brittany), her son, Dennis Blackmon (Jackie) and their children, Kaci, Devyn, Katherine and Taylor, her daughter, Tammy Rogers (J.R.) and their children, Bradley, Ryan, Kaleigh and Lindsay, and her daughter, Trish Blackmon, and six great grandchildren.
