Rose "Penny" Moffitt

Mrs. Rose “Penny” Moffitt, 79 of Columbus died Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Piedmont Midtown Healthcare.

Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907, with Rev. Eric Ogdon officiating.

Mrs. Moffitt was born November 24, 1941 in Sacramento, CA the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Denton.  She was a Protestant by faith.  Penny was the former owner of Bibb City Café.  She loved her dog, Bits and her cat, Jackson.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Billy J. Moffitt and step-son Bobby Moffitt of Mooresville, NC.
