Rose Ellen Rogers Sloan-Stewart of Midland, GA. 74, died Friday, October 25, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital.
Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 28, 2019 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA. 31907 with Rev. James E. Partin officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sloan-Stewart was born November 21, 1944 in Atlanta, GA daughter of the late Claude Rogers and Louis Harper Fowler. She worked for AT&T in the relay center and was a devoted Christian.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Stewart.
Survivors include her daughter, Darlene Morgan-Howell of Lynn Havin, FL., son Allen Sloan of Cumming, GA., sisters, Deborah Hauglie of Columbus, GA. Vicki Hartwell of Phenix City, AL. grandchildren, Michel and Tyler Sloan of Cumming, GA., Chad Morgan of Lawrenceville, GA., Jessica Morgan of Ft. Valley, GA., Brandon Morgan of Lawrenceville, GA., Brittney Morgan of Oglethorpe, GA., great-grandchildren, Addison Vinson of Ft. Valley, GA. and Nolan Morgan of Lawrenceville, GA.
