Ronnie Lynn Beecher, a loving father, grandfather, and devoted patriot, passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 66. Born on September 3, 1956, in Albion, New York, Ronnie was known for his funny, generous, and thoughtful nature, which endeared him to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 1:00pm, with Rev. Mike Reeves officiating. Visitation will follow after the service for family and friends according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ronnie is survived by his beloved children Stephanie Sikes, Melanie Beecher, Tiffany Beecher, Ronnie Beecher Jr., Michael Beecher, and Richard Beecher. Lastly ten beautiful grandchildren who were the light of his life, he cherished his family deeply and worked to ensure their happiness.
Ronnie was a proud member of the United States Army, where he served with distinction as an Infantryman and Paratrooper. He achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant (SSG) and was respected by his fellow soldiers for his unwavering commitment to his country and the values it represents. His dedication to service was a testament to his strong character and love for his country.
Family and country were at the heart of Ronnie's interests, and he took great joy in spending time with his loved ones and participating in activities that celebrated his patriotism. He was a fixture at family gatherings, where his sense of humor and generosity of spirit made him a favorite among both young and old.
Ronnie's thoughtfulness extended beyond his family, as he was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors in need. His warm and approachable demeanor made him a trusted confidant to many, and his sage advice was often sought and appreciated.
