Ronald Eugene Moody, aged 73, of Columbus, GA, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2024 at his home with his family by his side.
A celebration of life will be held 5:00 PM Saturday, March 23, 2024 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ronald was born on July 18, 1950, to Fred and Myrtice Moody, Ronald's life was one of purpose and passion. He was a hard worker and the best problem solver anyone knew. He contributed his skills to Twin City Electric Co. and later to Johnson Controls as a Project Manager before retiring. Ronald's memory will be cherished by his wife of 53 years, Julie Copeland Moody; his daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Cesar Wurm; his granddaughter, Gabriella; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Buz and Tanya Copeland; and his sisters-in-law, Jeanie Copeland and Carol Lewis.
