Ron L. Clipp, Jr., 62, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, November 27, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, December 5, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Judy Hay officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday and Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Clipp was born May 4, 1949 in Brunswick, MD son of Ronald L. Clipp, Sr. (Teresa) and the late Margaret Anne Feather Clipp. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and he worked for PlyCon for 28 years. He later worked for eight years at Walmart where he was the Department Manager of Pets on Buena Vista Rd.
Survivors include his wife, Emily R. Jackson Clipp of Columbus, GA, four-legged daughter, Cha Cha, father, Ronald L. Clipp, Sr. (Teresa), two brothers, Joey Clipp and Keith Roelkey, two sisters, Jody Porter and Lisa Starling, aunt, G. Lorraine Anders of Maryland, brother-in-law, Danny Jackson, four nieces, three nephews, and two cousins.
