Roger Dale Johns, 65, of Seale, AL died Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Midtown Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 14, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wayne Veal officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Johns was born June 8, 1950 in Columbus, GA son of the late Ralph Charles Johns and India Ennis Johns. He was an alumni of Jordan Vocational High School. He retired from PCI as a forger, and attended Fellowship Baptist in Smiths, AL. Mr. Johns played senior softball and golf and was very active in the church where he sang.
Survivors include his loving wife of 17 years, Beverly Rogers Johns; daughter, Cayce Johns of Columbus, GA; brother, Keith Johns (Joni) of Fortson, GA, niece, Megan Johns of Columbus, GA, and numerous other family and friends.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to Fellowship Baptist of Smiths, AL in honor of Roger.
