Rodney Keith Haines, 65, of Columbus, GA died Friday, November 16, 2012 at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital in Phenix City, AL.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 19, 2012 at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Haines was born September 11, 1947 in Columbus, Ga. son of the late George Haines, Sr. and Juanita Davis Haines. He worked at Dolly Madison and Pratt Whitney and was a U. S. Army Veteran.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother; George Haines, Jr. and sisters, Ruby Connell and Jackie Kinney.
Survivors include his sons, Jason Haines of Phenix City, Al; Keith Haines, Jr. (Lisa) of Columbus, GA and Robbie Haines of Afghanistan, sisters; Diane Newberry (Ken), Janice Tucker (T.H.), Gail Turpin (Phil) and brother Kenny Haines (Evelyn), sister-in-law, Gwen Haines, grandchildren, Holley Haines, Christian Haines, Ciara Haines, Kiara Haines and Charles Neal Haines, and several nieces and nephews.
