Rodney Jerome Blanks, 66, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at his residence.
A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM, Friday, December 1, 2023 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Rodney was born October 25, 1957 in Valley, AL to the late Hollis L. Blanks and Juanita Ragland Blanks. He loved to fish, ride motorcycles and listen to music. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Melinda Blanks and granddaughter, Kimberleigh.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Antoinette Fowler Blanks of Columbus, GA, children, Lee Hearp, Cody Blanks (Brittney) of Smith Station, AL, Courtney Blanks Mims (Dustin) of Columbus, GA, Dharma Blanks of Smith Station, AL, sisters, Joan Brewer Blanks of Valley, AL, Sandra Adcox of Valley, AL, brothers, Jimmy Clay of Valley, AL, Larry Clay of Valley, AL, grandchildren, Cody, Jr., Paisley, Benjamin and Aurora.
