Robert John Witter

Robert John Witter, 60, of Columbus, passed away on October 17, 2018, at Piedmont Columbus Hospital, Columbus Georgia, following a lengthy illness.
He was born January 18, 1958 in Olean, New York, the son of Gloria S. Young of Columbus, Ga. and the late Ray L. Witter formerly of Wellsville, New York.
Surviving in addition to his mother, is a son, Robert Scott Witter of Buffalo, NY; a daughter, Casandra Marie Witter of Rochester, NY; four grandchildren, Madisyn Stocum, Lenix A. Witter, Riley D. Witter, James O. Milner; his siblings, Miki Mullins, Gary Witter, Lisa Heineman; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
Along with his father, Bob was predeceased by a son, Shawn Michael Witter, and a brother, Daniel Ray Witter.
A private celebration of his life was held on October 19, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation.
