Robert W. (Bobby) Wilson passed away at his home in Columbus, GA on August 12, 2020 after waging a valiant battle with colorectal cancer.
Born Robert W. Hatcher in Melbourne, FL on August 19, 1967 to Richard L. and Karen Greer Hatcher, Bobby was adopted at the age 8 by his mother's then husband, Norman Wilson.
Bobby attended elementary school and high school in Columbus, graduating from Columbus High School in 1985. He worked in the tire and auto services field before starting his own successful handyman and remodeling business in 2001.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Jennifer Sellers Wilson, sons Justin (Danielle) Wilson and Kyle (Aynsley) Wilson, and his mother, Karen G. Highfield.
Bobby was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert L. and Catherine W. Greer and brothers Richard L. Wilson and Norman C. (Trey) Wilson, III.
A celebration of Life service will be held at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory's Chapel on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Masks and social distancing measures will be in effect.
