Robert Allan "Buddy" Williford, 59, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at The Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kip McKee officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Williford was born September 5, 1951 in Leesburg, FL son of Betty Joe Brannon Williford of Seale, AL and the late Curtis Clyde Williford. He worked as a self-employed painter and was a Baptist by faith.
Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Elaine Stinson and granddaughter, Serena Williford.
Survivors other than his mother include his wife, Debra Jean Williford of Columbus, GA, sons, Allan Wayne Williford of Columbus, GA and Jerry Scott Williford of Columbus, GA, granddaughters, Airanna Williford and Addison Williford, brothers, Larry Williford of Phenix City, AL, Gene Williford of Smith Station, AL and Bobby Williford (Patsy) of Smith Station, AL, sisters, Dianne Gilley of Phenix City, AL and Patty Thrower (Roger) of Columbus, GA, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
