Robert Branom Piepmeier

Robert Branom Piepmeier, 71, of Midland, GA, died Thursday, February 1, 2018 from complications from Multiple Sclerosis which he lived with for 44 years.
Mr. Piepmeier was born in St. Louis, MO on October 17, 1946 to the late Francis and Mildred Branom Piepmeier. In 1968 he received his BA from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL in Mathematics and Political Science. In 1969 he attended Garrett Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL and in 1971 he received his MS from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN in Industrial Management. Mr. Piepmeier worked for Control Data Corporation, RCA, FMC, and GTE Directories in Information Technology as a Computer Systems Analyst from 1969 until he had to medically retire in 1987.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Harmon Piepmeier.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Christine Fay Cummins Piepmeier; children, Kimberly Joy Piepmeier, Jeffrey Robert Piepmeier and wife Jenelle Armstrong, Jeremy Ross Piepmeier and wife, Angela Tovey; grandchildren, Aubrey Beth Piepmeier, Christian Tovey Piepmeier, Rennicker Robert Piepmeier, Autumn Noelle Piepmeier, Sophia Adeline Piepmeier, Robert Armstrong Piepmeier, Ella Avalyn Piepmeier; brother, William Francis Piepmeier; sister, Carolyn Ann Piepmeier Hartung; 3 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law.
